VRHS has been recognized as a Special Olympics Unified Champion School! Only five schools in CT have received this honor this year. As a result of our commitment to inclusion and a positive school climate we will receive a national banner of recognition to be displayed in our school. Special thanks to the students, families, staff, administrators, and supporters of our Unified Sports and Unified Buddies programs. Kate Ely and Carolyn Crehan's work to build our programs has been exceptional. Further, our school community's effort to create an environment where all students feel valued and appreciated is recognized in this National award. Way to go Valley!
